M. Nilles,

My husband and I built a home in Avon 11 years ago. It is 2080 sq. ft and was plenty of house for the two of us. You see, we were told for many years that we would be unable to be parents, so when we built our home it was with the premise that it would just be him and I. After lots of Prayer and persistence, we became pregnant with twins. In the next 7 yrs we would add 3 more children to our family. We are completely Blessed, but very smushed in our small home. We looked at the house on 625 because it was in our price range. With a family of 7, we can fill it with love and people very easily. We have the talent to fix it up ourselves in time, and it is all I dream about.
Unfortunately a few years back my husbands job was eliminated, and though we are back to making ends meet, it was not without damage to our credit. The banks are not willing to loan money easily with todays financial issues and I am afraid that they would not accept our application easily or at all. Do you know of any historical societys or individuals that would help us come up with a more non-conventional means of financing this property? It sounded in your post like you are a history lover as I am. I love this house and am desperate to make it work for our family.
